Well I’ve been MIA recently. Those red eye flights kill me. I flew the Alaska – Los Angeles red eye out Sunday night (hopefully my last one!), went straight to work Monday and was in bed by 8:00. It always takes me a day or two of sleep recovery to feel back to myself again and after a glorious 90-minute nap, I am back. Q and I had the greatest time together. I am so lucky that I got to be with Q for his birthday. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip and it made me so excited to be moving in a few short weeks.
Now that I’m back from an indulgent trip, I’m trying to get back to my routine in the food department. Discipline begins today!
Breakfast – 8:00AM
Oats with summer strawberries. Summer berries are my absolute favorite.
Lunch – 12:00PM
Gaby made these amazing buffalo and BBQ chicken lettuce wraps. At work we are working on eating healthier and these wraps were the perfect mix of indulgent and healthy.
Dinner – 7:00PM
I used the Griddler (can’t get enough) and grilled out some chicken in a Worcestershire, honey, bacon sauce, steamed out some brown rice and yellow beans.
Dessert for Dad – 8:00PM
I’m being good, but still wanted to make my dad a little dessert. I gave him some homemade peach and mango ice cream topped with grilled peaches from the Griddler!
