Heaven on a Plate

It starts with two fresh eggs from the Farmers’ Market

And a loaf of freshly baked bread

And is eaten at 12:00PM in your PJs.

For my Saturday brunch, I wanted to keep it simple, but still special. By using the freshest and best ingredients I had, this simple dish was filled with flavor and was the perfect Saturday morning feast.

What it takes:

  • 2 fried eggs
  • a sprinkle of salt
  • a pinch of fresh ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of Parmesan
  • 2 pieces of fresh bread (Ciabatta preferred), toasted

*Place fried eggs on a plate. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and Parmesan. Pair with toasted bread.

Yep, I’m with ya! Fresh simple ingredients = delicious. Yay for farmers market eggs!
