I refuse to pack up my summer/fall wardrobe. Shoes are one thing, but rolled up jeans, tank tops, and short sleeved shirts are another. I’m simply refusing. Today the temperature didn’t rise above 35 degrees until after 2PM. But I’m not giving in. On Tuesday night I had a meeting on post and even though it was 30 degrees out, I wore my rolled up jeans. I’m going to milk the “rolled up jean” look as long as I can (which is likely going to be Sunday, October 7th since apparently that is when we are going to start seeing snow). I will force myself to wear a sweater, but mainly because this one is so darn cute.
- Sweater: J. Crew (and on sale!)
- Jeans: DL 1961
- Flats: Rebecca Taylor
I’m hoping we have nice weather tomorrow since Q and I are going to try and sneak in one last bike ride before the snow! Have a great weekend!

Koko, you look great in that sweater!! Don’t you just luv some J. Crew? Looks really nice paired with the printed flats. Also, thanks for sharing the turkey chili recipe on an earlier post. I plan to try it with Boca Burger crumbles next week. Hard to fathom such cool temps in Alaska (30 degrees, yikes) since we are still having highs in the upper 80s in Boca Raton. Hope you enjoy one of your last bike rides of the season this weekend!

Rayna,
Thanks for stopping by!!! Gotta love J. Crew (I think if I had one place to buy my clothes from the rest of my life that would be it!). Let me know how the Boca Burger works with the chili, I think it will be great and a little spicy! Enjoy those warm temps while I slowly freeze
xxo
Yes, your sweater is cute! Here in Phoenix we are waiting until it cools down enough SO that we can go for a bike ride!!! Sheesh. We were “lucky” with 90s last week, but back to the 100s next week!! But going on a faraway vacation soon…will blog about it
