Um, I’m getting married in 5 weeks!! Crazy! This past week, my lovely girlfriends threw me a bridal shower. I wanted a low key get together, so we did cocktails and hors ‘doeuvres and it was truly the best night ever. It felt so special to be so loved and surrounded by people that I love in return! And let’s talk about how creative my girlfriends are: special napkins, invites, and a memory box for me to take home!
For the shower, I initially had no idea what to wear. So what did I do? Headed over to my one stop shop, J. Crew. I never would have picked this skirt up if it hadn’t been suggested to me. I didn’t think that balloon skirts like this looked good on my figure. But I grabbed one that was 2 sizes smaller than normal and wore it at my natural waist and it was fabulous. I added my new statement necklace and a simple tank, as well as some bright pumps to complete the look!
