After 6 days of nonstop travel, Q has made it back to LA. Yesterday flew by in a blur: baking, putting up flags, changing my outfit 4 times, rushing to the airport even though I was an hour early, worrying, crying, and then pure joy. The whole family gathered and waited for Q at LAX. And when he walked through those revolving doors…let me tell you, it was the best moment of my life.
The next 2 weeks will be spent sleeping, relaxing, catching up on the 10 TV shows I saved so we could watch them together (The Office, Parks & Recreation, etc.), seeing family, eating fresh food, drinking wine, seeing movies, traveling to DC to see friends, laughing, crying, and most of all enjoying each other. The blog will definitely be my second priority these next two weeks, but I will be checking in with updates about how it’s going when I can. Thanks for being so supportive; all the love we have received is truly heartwarming.
